There is no greater Italian restaurant to me than Caro Mio in #ravenswood, Chicago.
Their home-made pasta, delicious sauces, quaint and eclectic atmosphere, and #BYOB setting truly makes the best date night, double date, or girls night setting!
Here is my absolute favorite dish: gnocchi stuffed with Asiago cheese and pesto, topped with a creamy tomato sauce. (Not vegan, but worth it, and still vegetarian!)
Their green bean special salad as an appetizer is an amazing way to start off your meal.
They provide bread and olive oil to allow you to truly feel as if you are in Italy. This helps make the ambiance feel truly Italian, along with the red wine you bring along!
Some other meals that I have enjoyed there include their tortelloni, their cavatelli, farfalle primavera, and so many more. I have never been let down, but somehow always go back to the gnocchi special.

Their desserts are a wonderful way to cap off the night. You'll be so impressed with their fruit sorbets, the way they are presented!
